Support for eligible Chippenham households this Christmas
Christmas can be a stressful time of the year, especially for those already struggling on a low income.
Our Christmas Voucher Scheme is designed to provide some practical support, helping to ease a little of the financial pressure that comes with Christmas and rising living costs in the winter.
Eligible Chippenham households can apply for supermarket vouchers worth between £75 and £175, depending on their circumstances.
Last year we gave out £47,300 in total, supporting 316 households with grant funding. Read more about that here.
Applications will open at 9am on Monday 2nd November.

Applications open: 9am on Monday 2nd November 2026
Applications close: 12pm on Friday 13th November 2026, although the scheme will close earlier if the £50,000 funding pot is fully allocated.

Our Christmas Voucher Scheme (CVS) is for residents of the Parish of Chippenham who are living on a low income or recieving means-tested benefits.
There are specific eligibility criteria that you need to meet before applying.

You must complete and submit the application in one sitting. There is no option to save your Christmas Voucher application and return to it later.

Need help to apply?
We will be running drop-in support sessions during the opening week of the scheme. You might want help to complete your application or have a question you’d like to ask.
Members of Chippenham Borough Lands Charity’s staff team will be available to provide in person support and assistance from 10am to 12pm daily from Monday 2nd November through to Friday 5th December, at the Chippenham Community Hub. No appointment needed – just drop in!
