Chippenham Carpet Grant
Moving into a home without carpets can feel cold, empty and hard to settle into, especially for families with young children or older residents.
Chippenham Borough Lands Charity (CBLC) is partnering with GreenSquareAccord (GSA) to offer a new Carpet Grant Pilot for eligible local tenants.
Our charity is dedicated to improving the welfare and wellbeing of Chippenham residents through grants, guidance and great places. GreenSquareAccord is a housing association providing affordable homes and support services across the region.
This is a time-limited pilot, with £10,000 of joint funding available. We expect to support around 20 to 25 households this financial year. The pilot will then be evaluated to understand its impact and shape future support.
What the grant covers
- Carpet, underlay and fitting in one room – living room
- Installation arranged through an approved local provider
Who can apply
This scheme is open to GreenSquareAccord tenants living in the Chippenham Parish only. You may be eligible if you:
- Are a GreenSquareAccord customer
- Meet CBLC’s eligibility criteria for our Individual Grants programme.
- Have no carpets in your property
- Are moving into a property without carpets (or have moved into one within the last three months)
Please note: this scheme does not cover replacing existing carpets.
How to apply
- Apply through our online application form for our Grants for Individuals programme – there is no separate form for this pilot scheme.
- Complete the eligibility quiz first. If you meet our standard criteria and live in a GreenSquareAccord property in Chippenham, you’ll be prompted to complete the full application.
