Process
How to apply for a CBLC Grant
1. Check Your Eligibility
Start by completing a quick online eligibility checker. This short set of questions will help you find out if you meet the basic requirements for our grants. If you’re eligible, you’ll automatically be taken to the full application form.
2. Complete the Full Application Form
Once you’ve passed the eligibility check, you’ll be guided to fill in the full application, whether you’re applying as an individual or an organisation.
- You can request a unique link* to save your progress and enable you to return to complete the form at any time within 30 days.
- Copy this link and store it safely. You can also choose to have the link emailed to you by entering your email address and clicking “Send save and resume link”.
- If you keep working on your form after saving, you’ll need to request and save a new link. Only the latest link will work.
Important
- Without the link, you cannot retrieve your saved data. If you lose the link, you’ll need to start your application again from the beginning.
- Please note that signatures and any file uploads will need to be re-submitted when you return to complete the form so please add these once you are ready to submit your application.
*Our Christmas Voucher scheme has a shorter application form that needs to be completed in one sitting.
3. Submit Your Application
We accept applications for our Grants for Individuals or Grants for Organisations programme at any time during the year.
Our individual grants are assessed with 28 days.
Our Grants for Organisations programme runs in three rounds each year, each with its own deadline. Once a deadline has passed, we review applications and make decisions. To give your application the best chance, it’s a good idea to apply early – if we receive too many applications in one round, we may need to move some forward to the next.
Our Christmas Voucher Scheme opens for a short window in November only. We will share the news and upcoming dates with local partners and across our social media platforms in October.
