Westmead Lane Car Park

The car park on Westmead Lane, Chippenham, is owned by Chippenham Borough Lands Charity. It supports visitors to The Arc and the wider community by offering a mix of pay-and-display and designated permit parking.

Parking Spaces and Leasing Arrangements

Part of the car park is leased to The Climbing Academy (TCA) and operates as a pay & display area for visitors to The Arc.

The other part is run by CBLC with some spaces are leased to Chippenham Town Council to support council operations and other spaces are provided free of charge by CBLC for use by local charities, enabling volunteers to park while delivering community services.

ANPR Enforcement System

The car park is monitored by an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. This system tracks vehicle entries and exits to ensure compliance with parking rules.

  • All vehicles must be either on the pre-approved CBLC/TCA permit list or
  • Pay to park using the on-site payment machines or mobile payment service.

Find out more about how to park in the Pay and Display area on The Climbing Academy website.
