Chippenham Town Council
Our land and pavillion at Westmead playing field is leased to Chippenham Borough Council who work in partnership with us to manage and maintain the land there.
Wiltshire Council
We have been working in partnership with Wiltshire Council to develop ideas to create a skate park at our land at Westmead playing field. Wiltshire Council have agreed to provide a £200,000 grant towards the cost of the new skate, scooter and BMX park.
Wiltshire College and University Centre
We become partners with Wiltshire College and University Centre at the end of 2018. Staff, apprentices and students from Lackham College will be working on our land at Westmead Open Space to enhance it for community use. Lady Lansdowne unveiled our new owl sculpture, which was created to celebrate our partnership on the 5thMarch, 2019. The owl was created by student Ollie Adams, who is a Horticulture apprentice at Lackham College.
Bob Rudd
We are delighted to use the print of an original painting by local Chippenham artist Bob Rudd on our website and social media platforms. The staff and trustees would like to thank Bob for granting his permission for us to do so. We commissioned Bob to paint the town’s Market Place to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. He created a modern day take on a Louise J Rayner painting using the same vantage point from the Bear Hotel as she would have used in 1865.
