Christmas can be a financially stressful time of year, especially for those on low incomes. Our updated Christmas Voucher Scheme is here to support individuals and families living in Chippenham by providing supermarket vouchers worth between £75 and £175. Each voucher will help ease the financial pressures brought on not only by Christmas but also by rising food and energy prices over the winter.

New for 2024
We’ve opened up the scheme this year so that more people can apply directly to us for funding. This change ensures no one needing help is left behind and relieves pressure on local organisations to provide referrals. We’ve also added an online application system to make the grant funding more accessible.

We’re a place-based charity committed to helping Chippenham residents in need throughout the year. Our support is fully funded through long-term investments, meaning no donations are required. This approach allows our programmes, like the Christmas Voucher Scheme, to continue to make a real difference year after year.
How to apply
Step by step process

- If eligible, you’ll automatically move on to the short application form
- Once approved you’ll get your supermarket voucher via an email &/or text message
Eligibility requirements
You must:
Live in the Parish of Chippenham and be receiving means-tested benefits &/or have a low income:
– Single person: Income below £16,000/year
– Couple/family: Income below £30,000/year AND savings under £5,000
Required documents:

1. Proof of Chippenham Residency (one of these):
– Recent utility bill
– Council tax bill
– Tenancy agreement
2. Proof of Benefits OR Low Income (one of these):
– Benefit statements (e.g., Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Pension entitlement)
– Payslips from the last 3 months
– Bank statements from the last 3 months showing income deposits
Note: We accept clear photos, screenshots, or document copies as proof.
Please note Christmas Vouchers are limited to one per household.
