We’re here to help Chippenham residents facing financial difficulties this Christmas. Apply now for supermarket vouchers to make the festive season a little brighter.

Christmas can be a financially stressful time of year, especially for those on low incomes. Our updated Christmas Voucher Scheme is here to support individuals and families living in Chippenham by providing supermarket vouchers worth between £75 and £175. Each voucher will help ease the financial pressures brought on not only by Christmas but also by rising food and energy prices over the winter.

No referrals needed.

We’ve opened up the scheme this year so that more people can apply directly to us for funding. This change ensures no one needing help is left behind and relieves pressure on local organisations to provide referrals. We’ve also added an online application system to make the grant funding more accessible.

We’re a place-based charity committed to helping Chippenham residents in need throughout the year. Our support is fully funded through long-term investments, meaning no donations are required. This approach allows our programmes, like the Christmas Voucher Scheme, to continue to make a real difference year after year.

2. Complete the short application form
3. Receive your voucher via an email to use it at a local supermarket.

You’ll need to be able to submit within the application:

• Proof of Chippenham residency (recent utility bill, council tax bill, tenancy agreement)
• Proof of benefits or low income – this could include benefit statement (e.g. Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Pension entitlement), recent payslip (from the last 3 months) or recent bank statement (from the last 3 months, showing income deposits)

Acceptable proof includes clear photos/screenshots or copies of relevant documents. 

For low income, this means:

• For one person: Making less than £16,000 per year
• For a couple or family: Making up to £30,000 per year with savings of less than £5,000

Please note Christmas Vouchers are limited to one per household.

• Applications for the Christmas Voucher Scheme will open at 10am on Friday 1^st November 2024.
• The application window will close at 12pm on Friday 22^nd November but may close sooner if we receive more requests than our funding allows.
